Ms. Medvedeva was recently part of Vancouver Opera’s Yulanda M. Faris Young Artist Program for the 2019-2020 season. This engagement included singing Annina in La Traviata with the Vancouver Opera as well as covering Violetta Valéry, and Rosina in Rossini’s Barber of Seville. Cancelled performances due to COVID-19 included covering the Mother in Another Brick in the Wall and singing the title role of Alice in the Canadian opera Alice in the Garden, with Vancouver Opera. Other cancelled contracts included singing a concert with Consortium Aurora Borealis and a solo concert Opera Opulenza.
Ms. Medvedeva attended as a Professional Fellow at SongFest in Los Angeles where she worked with renowned collaborators Margo Garret, Graham Johnson, Alan Smith, Kevin Murphy, and esteemed mezzo soprano Susan Graham.
