Meryl Dominguez, a Cuban-American soprano praised for her “gorgeous, crystalline highs and a powerful mid-range” as well as “intensity and warm tone” is a recent graduate of the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. In 2020 she was slated to workshop the lead female role Lucy in Corigliano’s opera The Lord of Cries which is to be premiered at Santa Fe Opera in 2021, where she made her debut as Naiade (Ariadne auf Naxos) in 2018.
